TERMS OF SERVICE – STUDIO HAAG

1. General

These Terms of Service apply to all purchases made through Studio Haag. By placing an order, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

2. Product Condition & Authenticity

Studio Haag specializes in original vintage lighting and design objects. All items are pre-owned and may show signs of age, wear, patina, minor restorations, or imperfections consistent with their history and use.

We make every effort to describe all items accurately and present them clearly through photographs and written descriptions. Measurements and specifications are provided to the best of our knowledge. All statements regarding attribution, designer, manufacturer, period, and origin are made in good faith and based on available expertise and research.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in EUR unless stated otherwise. Payments must be completed in full before shipment or collection.

Studio Haag reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of pricing errors, availability issues, or payment irregularities.

Ownership of all goods remains with Studio Haag until full payment has been received.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Worldwide shipping can be arranged. Shipping costs are quoted separately unless included in the listed price.

Estimated delivery times are indicative only and may vary due to courier delays, customs procedures, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

The client is responsible for any applicable import duties, local taxes, customs fees, or related charges in the destination country.

5. Damage in Transit

All items are packed with great care and attention.

In the unlikely event of transport damage, the client must notify Studio Haag in writing within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of:

• the item
• all packaging materials
• the shipping label
• the damage sustained

Failure to report damage within this period may affect any claim with the carrier or insurer.

6. Returns & Final Sale Policy

Due to the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of our vintage items, all sales are considered final and returns are generally not accepted.

Clients are kindly requested to review all photographs, measurements, and descriptions carefully before purchase.

Returns will only be considered if an item arrives damaged in transit or if the goods materially differ from the description provided.

7. Electrical Disclaimer

Many items sold by Studio Haag are vintage electrical objects. Although tested where possible, wiring, plugs, sockets, and fittings may differ from modern standards in the client’s country.

We strongly recommend that all lighting be inspected and, where necessary, installed by a qualified electrician prior to use.

Studio Haag accepts no liability for improper installation, misuse, or modifications made after sale.

8. Limitation of Liability

Studio Haag’s liability shall in all cases be limited to the purchase price paid for the item.

Studio Haag shall not be liable for indirect loss, consequential damages, delays, installation costs, loss of profits, or third-party expenses.

9. Intellectual Property

All photographs, texts, branding, and content published by Studio Haag remain the intellectual property of Studio Haag and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands.

Any disputes arising from purchases or transactions with Studio Haag shall be submitted to the competent court in The Netherlands.
